Out with the old, in with the new

Red kitchenaid kettle finally died a death.  I ordered this new one at the cost of $80 (they ain't cheap!!).  It's funny to think that such a bog standard item/in every kitchen in Ireland (and UK etc) is such an anomaly here in the USA.
